Šmit’s Lake

There are also several smaller springs and lakes. The biggest is Šmit’s Lake which is connected with the legend about a girl who was saved from a dragon by St. George, and the print of a horse’s hoof has been preserved in stone beside the lake.

There are also several caves as in other parts of the Ogulin area. The best known is Rupećica where so-called 'human fish' (olm) can be found.
