One of the statutory duties of the Tourist Board of the Town of Ogulin is managing the development of tourist destinations, of course, in cooperation with the administration of Ogulin town. At the initiative of the Director of the Tourist Office Ankica Puškarić, the city’s authority headed by Mayor Nikola Magdić supported the development project of Cultural Tourism “Ogulin – the Homeland of Fairytales” in 2006 and thus benefited from the dedicated funds planned funds ensured by the Tourist Association of Karlovac County. Dragana Lucija Ratkovic from the company Muze d.o.o. was the author of the project, and the holder was the Tourist Association of Ogulin.

The mission of the “Ogulin – the Homeland of Fairytales” research and development project is to create an identity of Ogulin as a unique and attractive tourist destination with a special offer in the field of cultural tourism.
