In the Ogulin region there are two Marian shrines: Crkva Sv. Marije od Čudesa (Church of Holy Mary of Miracles) in the village of Oštarije (15th August) and Crkva Sv. Marije Utješiteljice (Church of Holy Mary the Consoler) in the village of Trošmarija (the first Sunday after the feast of St. Peter and St. Paul on 30th June) The patron's day of Ogulin is 14th September – the feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross.
